Sassone’s Truffle Flavored Guacamole

The famous Mexican avocado-based sauce often used to fill delicious tortillas is now a staple of our aperitifs, accompanied by the ever-present nachos. Today we offer a reinterpretation with the unique touch of our Saxon truffle sauce.

Difficulty: Easy

Preparation time: 10 mins.

  • 2 Avocados (about 500 gr)

  • Half white onion

  • 35/40 ml of lime juice

  • Sassone’s Spicy truffle sauce

  • Cherry tomatoes

  • Coriander
  • Salt

To prepare the guacamole, we first hull and finely chop the onion and a few sprigs of coriander. After splitting the avocado in half and removing the pit, scoop out the pulp with the help of a spoon and pour it into a mortar. Add the lime juice and start to pound until it becomes a cream. Add the chopped onion and coriander and pound again to mix the ingredients. Add salt and diced cherry tomatoes to the sauce. Let’s finish with a few spoonfuls of Sassone’s spicy truffle sauce. Our guacamiole is ready to be served

The secret to a good guacamole is definitely the use of well-ripened avocados, which should be soft but not too mushy when pressed with the fingers.
