Sassone Tartufi was born in Rocca Imperiale, a border area between Calabria and Basilicata, capable of taking the excellence of the territory from both regions.
The village is perched on a natural slope, typical of the area, on the Calabrian-Lucan Apennines, standing 200 meters above sea level. At the same time, the Ionian coast is only 4 km away.
Precisely because of this convenient position, the microclimate of our territory allows the maturation of Truffles of extraordinary quality, from Fine Black Truffle to White Truffle, from Uncinato to Scorzone.

Our land is crossed by canals and waterways capable of spraying the fields and forests around them and giving strength to the “symbiotic” trees of the Truffles. The quantity of their production in the land of the Calabrian-Lucan Apennines do not reach those of other regions, making our Truffles more sought-after than others.
