The season of the Calabrian white truffle begins


Let the show begin!

The harvesting season of the precious Calabrian white truffle starts again. These days we are busy reorganizing and organizing ourselves again, a ritual that is repeated every September: take your boots back from the closet, make sure the off-road is fully working and the dog training is completed. Trepidation and excitement are the feelings that return regularly in this period; every season seems the first and every year we hope to do better. Only one goal: Calabrian white truffle. This year even more: the lock-down has taught, or rather reminded to us, the truffle hunters, that man must follow the rhythm of nature and when we clumsily try to do the opposite, humanity is hopelessly defeated.

It is time to enter the wood and discover the fruit of the season, to let yourself be inebriated by the scent of fern, to listen to the footsteps on the dirt road that mark a new adventure and go home with a basket full of the precious Calabrian white truffle. Our advice is to save our site as a favourite and visit it after a little while to find out what the season has offered us. Let us hope a good harvest for now.
